We've turned this beautiful scenic painting from the late 1800's by Alfred Sharp and turned into a stunning mural wallpaper. Featuring the native bush of Waiheke island at first glance it looks like a depiction of the lush NZ bush but as in many of his paintings he is highlighting the stress and damage to the virgin bush due to colonisation. The painting titled Golden Eve Waiheke island won him a gold medal from the New Zealand Art Students’ Association in 1885.
