Experience the power and beauty of escapism through design. The Gardens of Petra wallpaper mural takes it’s inspiration from the ancient city of Petra. Using my imagination to re-create what has been described as the lost oasis of Petra, this extraordinary place was surrounded by desert, but it is believed the people of Petra controlled flash floods allowing a blossoming oasis in the middle of baron desert. Looking at the beautiful carved stone architecture of the ruins of what once were at the heart of a magnificent kingdom in ancient Jordan. UNESCO has described Petra as “one of the most precious cultural properties of man’s cultural heritage”. The muted greens and pops of ochre and rose in the ivy colour of this mural evoke a fresh and sophisticated garden retreat.
